BCTC works to serve higher education needs of local students and companies

Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC), the workhorse of our regional higher education system, is the product of a merger in 2005 between Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College. When Augusta A. Julian became president in 2007, the newly merged institution was still finding its way.

Spanish Immersion at Georgetown College gives students a leg up in global market

Deadlines Approach on Great Opportunities for High School Seniors

When you return, you’ll be that much better of a contributor to our community because your horizons will be broadened and you’ll diversify our thinking,” says Pamela Trautner, Executive Director of the Business and Education Network, a subsidiary of Commerce Lexington, to graduating high school seniors.
