Early Applicants Pull Ahead
April 16th, 2013My students are accustomed to hearing me extol the virtues of submitting applications well ahead of deadlines. Why? Early submission conveys interest in the college as well as an ability to organize and follow through. It turns out that these qualities lead to greater success in college, too.
In this article published by The Chronicle of Higher Education, James Roche, associate provost for enrollment management at U. of Massachusetts-Amherst, reports that his study confirms the correlation between early application submission and success.
